Could have been blowing moisture/condensation out of the exhaust. White smoke is typically water vapor, oil is bluish.

Agree. If it doesn't happen again, I wouldn't worry about it.

well its still smoking a bit. the car was warmed and i was at a stoplight and as i started going there it was. i took it to the dealer to get my rear end checked and they also checked the engine, and they said there wernt any leaks, (and i thought to myself if it was leaking it would come out of the hood and not the exhaust pipes) they told me the exhaust film may still be burning off, but i have had the exhaust for 5 months now. so, anyone got any ideas of what it could be. like i said it dosent smoke all the time, just sometimes when i start from a stop, or am stoping and i can see a bit of white smoke go up towards the cabin, i can also smell it. thanks guys!!!

Are you losing any anti-freeze/coolant? Check the reservoir in the morning before starting the car for a few days to see if the level is dropping.

Smoke would be perfectly normal if your running a TP. White smoke comes out my car sometimes at idle or very low speeds. Then the black cloud of death comes out at 8-9k shifts.

Another thing that can cause white smoke is bad gas. If you get some bad gas with water in it you will let out some white smoke. But if you a have TP on then most likely the smoke is from that. My S does it too.
