General engineering knowledge should tell you that you can tune an engine to be optimal at any given rpm to achieve certain goals. Look again at my 2nd post where I stated they raised the redline but couldn't maintain power increases above the the factory redline of 8200. I know my car (F20c) makes gains all the way through redline and that's what it does best. The fact the power curve tails off is that they can't flow enough air at high revs with the 52mm bodies but the higher velocity makes great gains in mid range.

yeah sure, I am just disappointed Honda Japan didnt hire such a professonal like you in the process of building the F20C engine.
