TWMS ITB
In the February 2005 issue of Import Tuner (With the 692 Evo on the cover) There is an Artical on page 119 about TWMS ITB..
TWM`s 04 S2K started off with just an HKS Exhaust and it dynoed 204 HP and 140.4 TQ. After installing the AEM EMS Fuel Management and bolting on the ITB the S2K gained HP & TQ. From 7000 RPM-7500 RPM the car gained 22 HP. At 5900 40 HP and 36TQ was noticed.

There is a little bit more than the AEM ems and itb's. Very awesome gains though. To bad it is not street legal. Looking at the dyno sheet, it also looks as if they changed the VTEC crossover point to about 56 to 57 hundred rpms.

I have doubts in the result, and I dont really believe everything listed in the magazine.
40hp and 36torque gain is very hard to achieve considering the S2000 is a already well tuned NA beast.

foz01, from UK, has ITB, Motec EMS, single exhasut and racing header and only got a extra 15 hp.
those numbers, that the magazine said, seems to be false, I checked the TWM Induction page and this is the dyno that I got; "just" 14 hp

Those changes appear to be the difference you see when lowering the Vtec point. Check out the 20 lb torque gain Wortham got that gives the same type increase in the same rpm range with the lowered Vtec point.

How much is due to the throttle bodies is not determinable with this data. Most of the people interested in the ITBs want them for what the dyno does not show, throttle response and scream.

If they are running the EMS, they could very well be using race fuel, which would account for the discrepency. If they don't mention what fuel they are using, assume they are using race fuel...
