Turning off VSA on MY07 S2000
I have a MY07 S2000 with 1800 miles and I've been driving with the VSA on since day one, and today I decided to drive with the VSA off. So on the initial start up, I held down the VSA Off button for two seconds until the "!" indicator flashed, and the "!" indicator just stayed on. I thought it just flashes a few times to indicate that you turned off the VSA, but "!" just stays on. I went through the manual and the quick start guide and I couldn't seem to find whats strong and I did a search, but came up with nothing. Is something wrong with my VSA and should I take it to the dealer? Or does the "!" indicator stay lit like that when you turn it off?! I tried turning it off multiple times today during different times, but I still have the same result.

Alright. Thanks for the quick responds. I just thought it would turn off because in the manual it says the indicator blinks during certain situations and then stops. But now I know it stays on.

Yep...
To confirm, when the "!" is ON, the VSA system is turned OFF. When the VSA system is ON, and it is activated by the tires slipping, then the "!" will blink a few times during the slippage. Sometimes, if the slippage is quick, it may not blink.
To turn the VSA system OFF, you should hold the VSA button down for a few seconds, as you did. To turn the system back ON, just hit it quickly and it'll engage again and the "!" light will turn OFF.
Hope that helps.
