Default Turn signals stopped working

When I drove the car today I realized that the turn signals have stopped working completely. No sound of relay either, so my first thought was the relays were broken. However, pressing the hazard switch does trigger the relay and all lights blink. any ideas why my turn signals are broken?

i dont have a s2k manual but i would look up a wiring diagram for turn signal switch.. find the two pins for left and right signals

use a power probe .. i own a power probe 3 and if u back feed the pin, give it power to see if the signals come on.. if not .. give it a ground and see if ti lights.. if works.. power or ground not sure which one u need to turn the signals on.. but if it works.. than your switch is bad.. dont need to explain why ur bmw switch still works cuz stuff just happens

i had a brand new xB at work that turn signal switch was bad.. with only 300 miles on the car..

and something is not right when giving power or ground.. it wont mess up the s2k system but the power probes got a fuse that blows ( but reusable just push it back in )

Just happened to me yesterday.

My hazard switch was internally sticking. The hazards works, but no turn signal action at all.

I rapidly hit the hazard button like 10 times and it freed up.

Havent been into my S2k electrical system that much, but I know its not uncommon on some cars for there to be 2 relays, one for the hazards, and one for the turn signals.
