50+hp to the wheels vs a SC in the mid range. That must be NICE!

I see what David b is saying. The torque around 5k rpm and up does look weird. I know who stoopid is and he is a great tuner and fabracator but the dyno graph you have sure don't look too smooth on torque curve. Torque curve tells you how consistantly your car is running. He may have been really tune down the timing or else your power wouldn't drop that like. ( should only drop little by little or at all.)

Yes, it looks as if your timing is double dipping. Getting a retard from the eManage and then getting a hit from the stock ecu, but if this was done at such high temps it could just be the retard that the ecu gives from the heat and not a knock induced retard.

In any case I don't figure you'll stay satisfied with just driving it for long, pretty quick you'll get the urge to tinker and you can smooth it out then.

An added plus is that after more people start working with the ignition thru the eManage they will learn some tricks that will help everyone.

What is the price difference between the Emanage and the AEM EMS? And also it would take a lot longer to properly to tune the EMS than the emanage, also, correct?

Very few people have even been able to tune the AEM. They have a new software which adds some autotune characteristics, but I haven't seen a post of someone who's used it yet.

I think it's one of those products that hasn't really matured for the S yet, but I am sure it will.

FJO has an autotune feature and it's users swear by it!

You can get just about everything you need for the eManage for $600. If you've got a turbo I recommend going with the Greddy e-01 boost controller / eManage controller, it just completes the eManage so nicely. The e-01 runs $500 which is about the same cost as a good boost controller, it just does so much more.

Can you controll ALL of the eManage features EASILY from the E01?

That is route I want to take since I do not have a computer with a serial port.

We did all of the tuning with the e-01. It's a little easier to use the laptop, it has a few more features that make changing the maps easier (interpolate, for example). The laptop software does some map tracing features that are different from the e-01 interface. Just a few things like that are different.
