how much are aftermarket engine mounts for the S2k if there is any out there and has anyone actually tried them?

also wes on the relocation kit, how long can the lines be? does it matter, and being that its clost to the radiator when doing an oil change does it in any way spill, or once the oil its drain it gets sucked back to the oil pan as opposed to staying on the filter, will it help to mount horizontally aka stock look rather than upwards?

Wes, do you have an EGT sensor? I just wanted to pass on a bit of information to you about our findings during tuning of our turbos. Chris Bender and I are running with the AEM EMS and we hit our maximum safe EGT level (750/800 celcius) with 7.5 lbs of boost with an AFR of 11.8:1. Although you may not be knocking you may be frying your rings.

I got a quote for the Spoon ones and I believe it was at least $500-$800. I just remember it being some ridiculous amount compared to OEM. Could have been worse.

TurboVtk, you're thinking too much.

gilbertg, although I have accepted that I'm pushing the boundaries of the car and that time is the only thing that will truly tell me how the motor holds up, from what I have seen of others 7.5 PSI is definitely not the max the motor can take, imho. But, we'll see. I don't recall exactly what the EGT's where but I know they were not any higher than with my SC.

Wes, thanks for sharing this. Good luck! Sounds like you're fully cognizant of the risks of running such high boost on stock internals. I hope this setup works for you and runs longer than even you expect without requiring a rebuild. Pls. keep us posted.

For those of you interested in the AEM EMS as it applies to turbo kits, you might check out:

Also, do a search for CJB80's and ChrisD's posts, as they shared a lot of great information on their turbo kits on the boards.

Best,
CB

Has the compression been lowered or are you still at 11.0/1 running at 11 psi with a/f of 11's?
