trying to start dead battery?

Default trying to start dead battery?

My S2000 has been sitting for a while so i went out to start the car and the battery was dead. So i took the battery out of the accord we have hooked up the jumper cables from the accord battery to the s2000 battery and spraks flew and now the car completly dead, put new battery in and theres nothing at all? Did i fry something? what should i check?

Assuming you did not hook it up the wrong way + to - etc. check your fuses.
Is the Immobilizer key flashing on the dash when you turn it on?

Nope there is nothing, no lights no beeping the cars is completly dead even with a new battery too.

to to make sure, i took the battery out of the accord set it on the sidewalk then hooked up the jumper cables to the accord battery while it was out of the car and tried to jump start it. Thats when the sparks flew and then the horn beeped once and all was dead after that.

check the main battery fuseable link- chances are that blew. napa is the only parts store that carries it other than honda.

and for future reference never put a battery on the ground- it grounds the battery out and can cause damage

Yea, that plus its always better to jump a car with another car that is running. That way you are using the power from the alternator as well.
