Does the LE 607 rear diff oil require a LSD additive in our cars? If so, how much and what brand?

I guess I missed something... Why do we need to flush out the old oil before adding LE607? Do you just spray a bit of WD40 into the fill / drain holes while it is turning, or do you empty a whole can of WD40 into it, then drain it? Is this really necessary if going from Mobil 1 with only a couple K miles on it?

I had never heard of flushing the differential before. Maybe LE607 isn't completely compatible with other oils. I wouldn't think the small amount of whatever is left would dilute the LE607 that much.

I also want to know if it is beneficial to flush the old stuff.
