How do you remove the panel behind the seats?
I have a cf trunk with no key lock and my trunk won't pop.
I have removed the 6 or seven plastic bolts, but can't get the thing off.
I need to get in there to pop the trunk from the inside.
Thanks
brendan

Brendan I replied to your pm.
FYI I think he is talkng about removing the convertible tray and getting in that way. Unfortunately the easiest way to do that is from inside the trunk!

you have very little change of getting to the trunk pop release that way....
I'd take a sawz-all to the trunk, but it's inside.

if you have a gap in the trunk lid and fender, have you tried putting a wired coathanger in there and tripping the lock?
although, I know your trunk fits really good....

For the convertible tray, once you get the plastic clip/pins removed, all you need to do is wedge a corner up and carefully pull. It'll pop out. I recommend you wrap it in a towel before you try to pull the panel out from behind the seats though, so you don't scratch up your window. It's a tight fit.

It is possible to get the release switch through the passenger side panel that's behind the seat. I had this happen to me. I accidently shut the trunk before finishing putting everything on.
You need to take out the passenger seat and the panel. Then get a flashlight and a long pole, like the one off of a broom or something and go at it. You push the foam stuff out of the way and manuever your way back there. It's also kinda nice it glows in the dark
Hey it might even be easier than taking out the tray who knows. Tell us how you do it.
