Trunk Lid Mis-Aligned

If the trunk cannot be aligned properly using the built-in adjustments, it sounds like either the trunk or the car is "tweaked". Was it in an accident?

Woah!!!!! The same thing happened to me thanks to my golf bags I thought I was the only one hahaha!

The car was not in an accident. Like KrazyKarim this was also caused by golf bags .

I've replaced the hinge and realligned the trunk spring. Furthermore I've also adjusted the cushions and played around with the onfiguration settings on the trunk. Is it possible that the springs were bent?

Ok guys I fixed it. The location on the trunk where the hinge attaches to was pushed in (makes sense since the golf bag was probably jamming into the hinge). To fix this, I simply grasped the trunk by two hands from the side and bent it (with some force) towards the convertible top.

i just opened my trunk and gently twisted it a little to the right. It worked for me
