He's only 16 years old. Give the kid a break. It's gonna take quite a few years for him to figure out that not all of those high school B.S. stories are for real.
Example: You have any idea how much HP a stock Hyundai Accent has? NOT MUCH! Imagine removing all the mufflers and resonators from it. It's gonna sound louder than before and louder than (well, you pick - S2000, Corvette, whatever). What do you think?

i'm not in high school yet and i've figured all those high school b.s. stories aren't real + much much more (most from this site)!!

Actually he is correct, you can tell the rpms and roughtly the amount of hp a car has by the harmonics produced by the exhaust notes.
In F1 when competition is cut throat and every hp counts, teams have figured out methods to determine how much power and rpms their competitors are doing by listening to the exhaust harmonics.
