Default Trimming the Bump Stop w/RSR Springs?

I have done a search, and I have gotten 2 answers. 1.) Leave the bump stops stock. 2.) Cut them in half. Because the instructions are in Japanese, I am kinda at a loss as to what to do. Some who knows for sure please help. Thanks!!!

By the way, the springs are RSR Ti2000.

My Tein springs came with a spec sheet on how much to cut bump stop for different cars. Mine was to cut .2 inches front and leave the rear bump stop alone.

what exactly does this do though? Make the car sit lower, ride different or what?

- it might be possible that the bump stop will prevent more 'play' in the suspension...
- if you go low enough and don't cut the bump stop, the car will just be riding on the bump stop...

OK, so it is somewhat necessary right?

If so, the fronts with the RSR's are only a 0.8" drop, but the rears are 1.4", so should I trim just the rears about .5"?
