Tried to install K&N intake on my 07 AP2,plz help

^ downpower? People have made slightly higher hp numbers with this intake. Any bolt on with this car isnt going to give you hardly any hp anyways. People here pay $1200 for an exhaust that still wont give you much hp, and makes it noiser...

Never said noise makes the car faster, just saying people pay way more than $300 for things that dont add much hp. Some people just add an intake for the sound (same thing for an exhaust, but way more expensive). Also here is a link to a guy that dyno'ed his FIPK a while back.

Go to about the 10th post down by the op and he put down 193 stock, then with just the fipk and ricks pullies he put down 199whp with no other mods. I would bet that it wasnt the pullies alone that gave him a 6whp difference. Even though the numbers might not be accurate for every car, the fipk will not lower the power on our cars.

For anyone who followed this thread ... I will tell you after a week with this K & N system, it really makes the engine sound great.
The install would have been much easier if the directions were for my exact year Auto and now that I did it once it will be a much quicker and easier process from here on for when I need to switch it back.
