My car is a 2007 S2000 (AP2)

Can someone please help me out, I have done this type of mods on my 330i & RX8 when I had them and would think I can definitely do it but here is the problem.

Above is the link to the directions I tried to follow, everything went smoothly until I hit step 10 through 18 confused the heck out of me ...

10. Detach the air control valve vacuum hose and the air control solenoid vacuum hose from the hard lines. .. where the heck is this ?

Then I went to step 11 and step 12 - Do i have this ? where is it ?
11. On vehicles equipped with air injection pump, detach the vacuum hose from the air control solenoid valve vacuum control sole- noid valve.

12. On vehicles equipped with air injection pump, detach the vacuum hose from the air control vacuum check valve.

The instructions look pretty clear to me. Did your S2000 already have an aftermarket intake? If so, the instructions wont help much because they are based on removing the stock intake system.

My car is 100% stock so there was no previous intake installed.

The instructions are good but my car doesn't have those 2 hoses in picture #10. Are these only in the AP1 ?

Does the AP2 have an air injection pump ?
Can someone let me know where is the vacuum hose in my car ...

I see. The AP2 also has an air injection pump. Are you sure the intake you have is fully compatible w/ the year S2000 you have? If so, I'd email K&N directly about this. Maybe you have the incorrect instructions (i.e for a AP1 install).

2004-2005 AP2's have the air injection pump. 2006+ do not. This intake will work fine for your car though, just skip the parts relating to the air injection pump.

Ignore steps 10-18 on the posted instructions. Actually makes for an easier install.

The instructions actually tell you that the instructions are generic for all year, and to skip what you don't need to do

I have an FIPK II on my '07.

Instructions from K&N http://www.knfilters.com/instructions/57-3514_inst.pdf

looks the same though, except they changed it to "2004-2007".

Those directions look like the same ones I posted above ... it seems the whole vacuum line part does not need to be done on my2007 ... if i am wrong please let me know ...

Also step 6 I don't seem to have 'removing air control solenoid' .. please again let me know if i am wrong because I really don't see it ...
