Transmission whine
Hello ,do you guys think the bearings in the tranny should be a recall item?
I have not heard of a bearing giving out in a tranny in so many cases
as the S2000. Other cars never have a problem in their lifetime.

What's "so many cases"? Give me some statistics. I've seen one post here about the tailshaft bearings and that looked like oil starvation.
My guess is a vast majority of S2000's have no transmission problems.
Other car's DO have transmission issues. Go visit some Subaru forum some time. The WRX's blow tranny's left and right if you crank of the boost at all.

Do you even know if the "whine" in your tranny is actually from your tranny or if it's even abnormal? Every tranny has a certain degree of whine - it full of meshing gears. This car's tranny is NOT inherently bad nor does it have a whine that is considered a problem. Maybe you've been listening to the wrong people.
I don't see why Honda should do a recall on a non-existent wide ranging issue.
