Posting this again since I still haven't solved the problem yet.

I have replaced the 3 tailshaft bearings mentioned in a similar post, the noise is still there.

I'm thinking I need to replace my transmission bearings, but that's a lot of work to do and im hesitant to pull it apart.

anyone have any ideas?

there is a slight hum when in gear and moving, no hum when at a standstill. when under load the noise becomes much louder. This whine changes pitch based on the speed of the vehicle, i don't hear any whine when in neutral.

I already tried that, as previously stated, whine still persists.
