I just got her back yesterday. Of course, it was during those viscous storms that blew through producing alot of hail. They chose wisely, and waited for it to pass by before they did the test drive. I was finally handed the keys after the mechanic, Marcello@John Eagle Honda, drove a few miles around the area.
My car is back!!!!!! How I missed it so. That CIVIC DX was nice and all but it was slowwwwww! Hey, that rhymes.
They replaced both Tranny seals and did the TSB-055(syncro). My car was evaluatated for the TSB-054(clutch noise) problem and was deemed within specs.
The 1-2 shift feels like it was brand-new but the rest of the gears feels like it's broken in.
As for the leak, I'll check when I get home tonight and see if there is any more tranny oil on the ground.

When I referenced me being able to smell the tranny fluid, I should have clarified that I meant the tranny fluid on the ground. I never really smelled anything while driving. The leak was very small didn't drop that much oil. I just didn't like the fact that my new 15k mile car had a leak already. My other car has a leaky valve cover and I got tired of cleaning it up.
