Since I have my s2k, I had a weird noise coming out of the transmission. When I let go the gaz pedal I hear some noises. I went to honda, my car is no longer under guaranty since it's a VGA so they told me to replace my clutch cause it seemed to be the problem. So I did, with an ACT clutch. The noise was still there. I went back and they told me to change the bearings in my transmission, so I did. The noises were still there.
So one of my friend was selling his transmission (20 000km), like new.
GUESS what... the noise is still there.

I have no clue where is it coming from. But when I am decelerating, the noise comes up, right away. It's getting me crazy,
help me please

GSRGirl, si ca peut te rassurer j'ai le meme probleme avec ma 2002. Sur s2ki, il appelle ca le "clutch buzz" et tous s'entendent pour dire que c'est normal.

it's not a rattle, it looks in the transmission directly.Could it be the differential ?

I had a noise from the gearbox at the high RPM. And the reason was a white plastic ring that holds a rubber keeping the shift stick from shaking. It is visible when you remove the panel with the shift boot and look into a hole in the tunnel where the shift stick is. It takes just a moment to check if it's OK and when it's not you have the cause. It should cost something like 8 USD at any dealership.
It was by far the least expensive and most cost efficient gear box repair I have ever made. And the noise is gone now!!!

Does your noise happen at high rpms or lower rpms?

Faudrait que tu detail un peu ton probleme...mais ca sent le fameu buzz de clutch , jai du refaire ma transmission l'an pass
