Very common occurence (at least the transmission of power in neutral, don't know about enough power to move the car).
If you ever have a chance, put your drive wheels up in the air with a jack. Start the car, put it in neutral and let it idle. Now get out of the car and watch in amazement as the drive wheels start to spin. As others have said, there is enough drag/friction in the tranny to cause this. Normally it isn't enough to overcome tire drag, rolling resistance, etc., but pretty much all manual tranny combos do this to some extent.

ok, I was a little backwards. If your foot is on the clutch and your in 1st gear and still keep rolling, there's a fix for that. As for your problem....I don't know. It could be anything. Tires, rims, vibrations, etc..

You guys go try this.. my car moves nowhere in neutral at any rpm. I can buy some wheel movement on jackstands (although I have never seen it), but I think something else is in play for for fluid or bearing friction to move 2800 pounds.
