transmission grinds after fluid change? help!
i changed my ap2 tranny fluid. the other day. the car was level... not perfectly but darn near close. i then drained the fluid, then put in new oem honda MT fluid, pumped it into the tranny till a lil ran out of the fill hole. put the bolt back in and set it back on the ground...
now the car doesnt shift better and wants to sometimes goin into 1st and sometimes 2nd...
any thoughts of what it could be?
imma try to just put more fluid into it but any other thoughts, thanks

placebo effect, when sugar pills make you feel better...
if it was fine before the fluid was changed, are you sure the fluid you changed it TO was the same?
maybe it was a redline trans fluid? or have you had this car from stock..

Had the same issue... Just like yours it wasn't level... and made things worse.
I changed the fluid again and it went back to normal, did I get a btach of old fluid? Did I not put enough or too much? Don't really know but back to normal with another change after 10k.

^thats weird.
My clutch master was also leaking...I developed a bit more 'grinding' into all gears... figured trans fluid was at fault, but I bled the clutch anyways. The master is still leaking slowly, but now the clutch engages much better and the pedal feel is much stiffer.
I need to go buy a new Master Cyl, I guess...If the OP's master is leaking, then it makes sense that the gears will grind.
