Transmission Fluid Overfill? How?
#11
Beware; if you overfill the Trans, too much, you may cause foaming. This will lead to the lack of lubrication and cooling of the secondary shaft bearings, causing premature failure of said bearings. The overfill may feel better, for now, but your pocketbook may not.

for the new Honda fluid---made it shift much easier when it's cold----make sure you get the "new" MTF fluid (green label/white cap).
I just changed mine a few months ago and didn't "overfill" it because of the foaming issue---to me it's not worth taking the chance--foaming trans fluid can be a problem on most cars if they're overfilled---not just ours (and the Honda engineers already figured out how much trans fluid we need and put the fill bolt in the right place for us )
