When it comes to the tranny and diff, ALWAYS undo the fill bolt first. If you drain all the fluid, and you can't get the fill bolt off, you snap the head, whatever, you are SOL. ALWAYS take the fill bolt off first.

I would like to add 1 more thing to this DIY.
Make sure let your car warm up for at least 1.5 minutes-2 minutes, every time you drive, trust me, I garauntee the shifts will feel like butter, especially after the transmission fluid change. Use Honda Manual Transmission Fluid though, they make good stuff.

I would like to modify this DIY.....
If you do NOT own a pump of any kind...get this one...

It's cheap as hell, and makes the fluid change MUCH easier. It holds a full quart, and can dump it all out in one smooth push. Really an excellent tool. Works great for diffs too, but if you plan on using more than one type of fluid, either make sure you clean the pump well after each use, or, at this price, order more than one just to make it easier on yourself.

I just changed the trans and diff oil at 5k miles (Amsoil 75w-90 racing) and noticed the trans fluid looked pretty good, but the diff fluid looked dirty and the magnetic drain plug was covered with metallic goo
I replaced the stock trans drain plug with a magnetic one....a "must-do" mod in my book, it's amazing how much particulate these things catch, although I'm sure there are aluminum components in the trans as well

he just explained it.. if you drain the fluid and then you strip the bolt where you are supposed to add new oil, how can you put the new oil in? it's just a precaution.
