Yeah, it's annoying. It sounds like something is "wrong." I've spent a lot of time fixing and rebuilding older Italian sports cars (mostly Alfas) and if I heard this noise, I'd probably tear down the clutch and transmission looking for a bad bearing or a spring-loaded part that isn't completely disengaging. With barely 4500 miles on the car, I can't imagine I have a worn part, though.

I think I'll take the car into a dealer and have them listen for the problem. That way, as someone suggested earlier, if something goes wrong down the road, at least there's a record of my complaint. Now to try and find a reputable dealer...

lol i suggested that. even if they don't fix it have the complaint on file. It must be a spring or bearing not disengaging properly
