Trans grinding into 6th

Trans grinding into 6th
Over the weekend my trans began grinding into 6th. This happens when the trans gets warm and only at highway speeds. It will grind from 4th to 6th or 5th into 6th, but not all the time. I have never had trans issues with with my 02. Some times I swear I can feel the teeth on the gear through the shift knob. You can hear it on the highway when it grinds.
I am going to try a fluid change and see what happens. Should I try the Redline MT90 or the GM stuff? The car is not driven in the winter, so temps are not an issue for me. I really do not want to have the trans opened up since all the other gears are like butter. BTW, I only have 3200 miles on it.

If Honda MTF was working for you before this weekend, just get a fresh batch of the Honda Fluid. If it continues then you can try the half Redline MTL and half MT 90 mix. You can also try with NEO Synthetic, which some people on here have also have had good experiences with.

The only time I have ever, ever grinded 6th was when I was lazily shifting. Are you sure the clutch is fully engaged when you shift? Aside from this and the fluid suggestions, that's all I can think of - good luck

UPDATE:
I went with the GM Syncromesh since the Redline was going to be a pain to find. The longest task to do was getting the car up on 4 jack stands and getting the car level. The original fluid came out nice and clean with no metal particals on the drain plug. I even drained through a metal strainer and there was nothing.
The car seems back to normal. I did not have the grind from 4th to 6th as I was having for the past week. I have not tested on the highway yet, but it did not grind this shift at 60mph as it was doing the other day. The trans even feels easier to shift if you can believe that
I cant believe that the original trans fluid would break down with only 3200 miles on my MY02 especially since it looked like new when it came out.
