Is the tranny supposed to be so loud

so i did the change about 30 minutes ago. I forgot to get a 3/8 drive for the torque wrench so i just tightened the drain bolt until it was snug. Took it for a spin everything seems fine and absolutely no leaks. will it be ok like that?

So if you have a 10-100 ft lb torque wrench you should only use the wrench for tightening 50 up?

no you can use it for anywhere from 10 to 100. I think that 50 would be what the wrench is best at bc its in the mid range for that wrench

The term I had always heard was the bottom 20%. I really don't know how much variation there could because the only hard data I've seen is the calibration sheet that came with my wrench (see below). I'm thinking that some of this talk about them not being accurate down low may be a little bit over exaggerated. This torque tester is only $40 on Amazon and has some great reviews on it's accuracy. I keep meaning to pick one up and test out one of these cheap wrenches just to see if they are sketchy as we're lead to believe.
