i'm running GMSMFM, too...15 - 20k miles now. it was perfectly fine for me until the weather warmed up for good in the last few days. every shift feels like there's a slight grind, it's really annoying. even when i shift slow, clutch completely in and wait for the revs to drop to the right amount. i think it's about due for a change (at least, i hope this is because of the fluid!)...i'll probably try that new honda stuff this time. gonna pick up a couple bottles today during lunch.
forgive my noob stupidity... what's GMSMFM? please educate my dumb ass. Thank guys

General Motors Friction Modified Transmission Fluid, it really does a good job smoothing out the shifting, but from some people find it that it doesn't last long

the guy at the dealership told me they use the friction modified variant of the GMSM for the vettes. Is it true? i dunno, if they are anything like a Honda dealership then probably not.

hmm, that's interesting...all this time i thought it was for trucks. well, i got the new honda mtf anyway to try out. if it's not as good as the GMSMFM then i'll just switch back later.
