Default Tranny noise please help

ok, so after finishing my brakes today (rotors, pads) on my 00, ive come to the conclusion that they were not cause ofthe noise i was hoping to fix. (chukah chukah sound that steadily gets louder with acceleration, sounds like a train). so i jacked the two back wheels up and had my friend star the car and slowly accelerate. some one on here told me the axle probly just needed to be greased, but then i heard the noise coming from the front. i put my head closer in, and found the noise coming from the transmission. this noise is also heard through the shifter when driving, and can easily be heard outside of the car when moving. im aware of the clutch tsb, but i dont think this is in any way normal. any of you have an idea of what this might be?

if it "rattles" then it may be the clutch, a common problem. if it "whines" then it may be a tranny bearing or the rear diff.

I also have a 2000 with 46000 miles and Honda said it is the clutch sticking on the input shaft and they are going to goodwill the repair so I will see, it sounded like a trans to me.
