Tranny bolt issue
Hello everyone. I have an issue that I think is minor, but wanted to know your thoughts on it.
Short story is I blew my engine, I got a low mile AP1 longblock from a junkyard, swapped it in, and was putting the transmission back on tonight. All of the bolts went in fine except the very top driver side tranny bolt. Both dowels are in. I'm pretty sure its somehow stripped.
Will there be an issue if I leave this one bolt out? The dowels in theory should hold it from twisting and the other bolts should keep it mated to the engine.
Thanks.

Back from my 240 days I remember alot of guys leaving out the top transmission bolt because it was such a pain to get to and having no issues with it. However I never personally tried this and I myself probably wouldn't want to risk it.

Thanks for the help.
I actually figured out my issue after I was plugging connectors in. Somehow I must not have been paying attention and the plug for the driver side cam sensor is in the bellhousing. The wire must have offset it enough so the bolt wont thread in. Extra work to do now.
