TracySports Header dyno
A lot of members have been PMing me about this header and I finally got the dyno done on Friday. Thought you might find this interesting.
Here is the verdict:
TracySports header (2.2 liter version)
Fuji Legalis R exhuast
Max HP gain was 8.5@6050 rpm
Peak HP gain was 4@8400 rpm
Max TQ gain was 7@3700 and 6000 rpm
Peak TQ gain was 4.5@ 6800 rpm
Strange dip at 7000 rpm, any ideas about this? The A/F sensor was busted, so I couldn't see if that was the issue.
All of the guys at Autowave commented on how nice the welds and construction were on the Tracysports Header. However, the O2 sensor bung is in a bad location. We had to run the wires over the header and secure them with zip ties to a bracket. I have wrapped the wires with heat shielding to protect them, but this obviously bad location surprised me. To sum up the header, the mechanic (Michael) said, "Beautiful piece, but whoever put the bungs on it must have been smoking crack that day."
Overall, I am really pleased and the butt dyno says much better. Plus, it sounds incredible, love this exhaust.
