TRACTION STUCK ON?

TRACTION STUCK ON?
Just picked up an 06 s2000 from a dealership and I believe the traction is stuck on and can't turn it off (triangle exclamation point). Guy told me tires might need pumping, but vsa doesn't turn on. I keep pressing the vsa button, nothing. First time owning an s2000. Any heard of this?

In and 06 tires shouldn't have anything to do with VSA. The TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) didnt show up until 08. As for the VSA, the VSA is on when you first start the car, you have to press and hold the button down until the light shows up on the dash (this turns the VSA off). Simply press the button again to turn VSA back on.
Are you pressing and hold the button down?

If the triangle is on, it means there is a fault with the VSA or you may have another issue.
is the Check Engine light on as well?
My car had a misfire that triggered a CEL and also disabled VSA.
Clearing the code reset the VSA as well.

No CEL
No VSA light
Just the triangle, I cant seem to shut it off. I thought when it's on, it's actually traction mode?
Sorry, a newb. I downloaded the manual and it say to press the VSA button, nothing.
Maybe my question should be... should the indicator be illuminated?
(pic randomly rotated after upload, but you get it)

With the light on it means that VSA is OFF and that light has NOTHING to do with your tire pressures.
Looks like one of the wheel speed sensors could be bad. I'd take it back to the dealership and make them fix it.

Sorry for my earlier assumption you didn't read the manual!
VSA is OFF in the photo. Pressing the VSA OFF button to the right of the steering wheel should extinguish the light -- meaning VSA is ON. There is no VSA ON button, it's on by default.
Button stuck in the pressed position?

There are, unfortunately, about 70 pages in the shop manual on troubleshooting and adjustment of the VSA system. The Honda Diagnostic System will retrieve codes via the ODB2 port under the dash. There may be "blink" codes that may be read as well.
Checking the wheel sensors is one of the few things you can do yourself. The gap between the sensor and pulser, the toothed thingy on each wheel, should not exceed 1mm or 0.04in.
One of the "problems" is the VSA light remains on (indicating VSA disabled) even when the system is running normally. Meaning it's just an indicator problem and VSA is working just fine. But that's just one of many possible malfunctions. Hopefully you bought the car from a Honda dealer but, regardless, that's where she needs to go.

You could go try and do some donuts in the parking lot and see if the light blinks
