5th and 6th would have an even larger difference at the cost of top speed.

it's really going to be interesting once we see someone increase the redline on the 2.2l motor. I strongly suspect that another few hundred rpm might be a very useful overrun for each gear, but I guess we'd have to check for piston to valve clearance.
