Tough shift into 1st and Reverse after hard track day.. Bleed clutch?
I took the S2000 out to Gingerman on Monday and did almost 100 laps (about 180 miles). What a blast!!
Anyways, now I notice that sometiems the car is VERY hesitant to shift into first or reverse from a stop. I can release the clutch and redepress it , and then it gets easier, but this is not good.
The car got *REALLY* hot on the track (brushed into 4 bars on the engine coolant gauge a couple times for a few seconds), and the brakes were really workin (even boiled a little bit of my 550F rated ATE superblue!). I'm wondering if the clutch got a little too hot and maybe some of the clutch fluid boiled?
Anyone else had this problem? Anyone ever bleed the clutch? Is it pretty easy to get to? (do you bleed at the slave or the master?)

1. Try getting bleeding the clutch.
2. I had the exact problem with my car after some clutch service. Turns out the service mechanic did not lube the main shaft and it got rusted. I could not get into 1st or reverse without trying very hard from a standstill. It was really bad after the car has been resting after a while. A senior mechanic later on discovered the problem...took the rust off and lubed the main shaft. The car shifts better now than the day I picked it up.
FYI your main shaft comes out of the tranny and comes into contact with the clutch assembly. You possibly could have cooked and vaporized the lube on the the main shaft...
