Default torque on main bearing carrier and rod caps

im trying to rebuild my f20c engine.. anyone knows the setting on the main bearing carrier and rod caps.. hw much pounds i do need to set my torque wrench?

Doing such a delicate operation without a workshop manual where those specs are most likely listed...

Torque the rod cap bolts to 18ft lbs. then tighten an additional 90*. Bearing caps to 22ft lbs then tighten an additional 60* in sequence. You need a manual to show you the sequence though.

Well, if you do it for a living, then you can do most of it without a manual and just need the specs. The same goes for torque sequences... They're all pretty much the same in that you start at the centre and work your way out!

That said, I prefer to have the manual too... Just in case someone does it differently (You know, once you think you know it all, someone goes and changes things!)
