Wink Top wont go up/down all the time

My top only goes up/down half the time, its tempermental. My 99 civic pwr window was tempermental too and it was the relay. What do you guys think, do i need to replace the convertible top relay and if so wheres it located? Thanks.

Are you sure you have the parking brake "up" before trying to get the top to go up or down?

Yes and also check the elastic straps that attach the middle crossmembers. If it stretches even a little then the top will bind on the way down and it can punch fist size holes in the top should it "pop" past that point.

Ask me how I know.

Been there......done that......

Top will not function unless you have your e-brake pulled up

Hopefully that solves it.

Parking brake only has to be up a click or two, not necessarily all the way engaged.
