top hat removal off of stock suspension - help.

You do not need a compressor at all. All you have to do is tie a rope or other cord type thingy around the spring tight, face it to the wall, step on the suspension and remove the nut slowly. There really is not too much pressure and plus you save your self time and some money....

Yea I didnt use a spring compressor on mine either. The tophat only moved an inch or two when the nut came loose. Didnt shoot 30ft or anything. Just be careful

I always stick the top hat on my feet and the other end against a tire, impact the nut off. Shoots the tire about 8 inches. Looks a bit goofy but works well.

it is too late....i already paid Monroe.... for some reason one of my KW3's was put together wrong.... i need to take it back off and run it back up to them.... hopefully it is something simple.
