Hi all, My engine makes a rattling noise at high revs from 5.5k upwards and is constant after this point. I have just done a retainer swap (2000 miles ago). I was meticulous when I did the swap and I know 100% I did everything correctly. It is definatley a rattle and not a buzz noise, also occasionly it wont do it I have double and treble checked everything, the clearances are spot on,VTEC engages perfectly and the car pulls like a train, can anybody shed any light please ?

ps can't do a video as you have to be travelling pretty quickly and I don't want to be pissing about with one hand off the wheel.
