Tool Recommendations
I must say that even though I contemplated whether or not they were worth the money when I bought 'em, my Dewalt Cordless drill, Dremel (cordless and plug-in), high-end torque wrench and safety wire pliers have paid for themselves fifteen-fold. (The most universal, bulletproof and venerable tool that I own has got to be a Strider AR folder, though.)
Aside from metric sockets, open-ended, box and allen wrenches are there any must have tools out there that are missing from most people's toolboxes? Brake bleeders, fluid evacuators, pneumatic spring compressors, phased plasma tungsten welders?

I use a lot of stubby ratchet wrenches and magnetic 1/4 drive sockets for hard to access bolts. Snap-on makes the best magnetic sockets around. They have the same profile as a regular socket. MAC and MATCO offer magnetic sockets that have thick walls like an impact socket. The S seems to have more than a few bolts in hard to reach places. A 4 foot long extension and wiggler impact sockets make transmission removal much easier. I'm still partial to Snap-on hand tools, they are very pricey, but have the best quality IMHO. At the same time. Harbor Frieght Tools sells cheap tools that can still get the job done.

I would think that the brake bleeder would be something to definitely pick up. Nothing worse than having to bribe someone into pumping your brakes.
Oh, and don't forget the Phase Plasma Rifle in either a 40 or 60 watt range.

Pressure bleeders are great if you are working alone. I find brake pad swaps to be a 15 minute operation with the ratcheting wrenches-make sure you get some with micro-clicking (5 degrees between clicks). I also used different things to turn the rear caliper pistons but I find the $8 tool to be the easiest and fastest.
I have on my wish-list a lightweight racing jack.
What is a Strider AR folder?
