Default took my spare tire out...

yup i took my spare tire//tools out and now I either lose traction or my clutch is wearing out

im not really losing traction but i think it just seems like that because of my CDV. the car doesnt feel slower but doesnt have that nice tug when i shift gears anymore, just kinda slowly fades into the next. this happens 1st 2nd and 3rd gear

i have less than 3k on the ODO.

does the CDV have to go?

hmmmm, i'm not sure if the spare tire would have anything to do with this. i've got 4800 miles on my 06, and every shift i make is pretty strong, no slipping. have you abused the clutch, done too many launches?

tools/spare has nothing to do with it (i would leave them in BTW, safety fiirst!!!) removing the cdv helps the cluthc grabs, but it still takes techinque. it will still slipp like krazy. so just gotta get into that shifting groove.

It's either your driving, the CDV, or both. It's definitely not your tire/tools.

put them back in to see if you're experiencing the problems.
