Thanks man.... you saved my sanity! Looking forward to driving her w/ the new clutch.
Oh, you mentioned that you got the plug from a recent enjine job. Please tell me's not from Triax's engine... The thought of Limey's plug in my engines hole is just too much to bear....

JDM quality yo! (end sarcasm)
how bad was the oil leak? or was it just seepage that accumulated over the years?

I do not abuse my car at all, and really don't stay on the clutch (not even at traffic lights) but noticed the slipping getting worse even in 5th - 6th gears!!! So I knew something was wrong and questioned if oil was getting onto the disc. It was highly unlikely that any was, and only under the very experienced eyes/hands of Bill did he catch this... Guys, he's worth every penny. Don't let anyone else touch your car!

Billman, I don't recall seeing this posted elsewhere, so now that you have the AP2 flywheel out could you put it on a kitchen or postage scale or similar and give us the exact weight of it? I've read that it's heavier than the AP1 model, just never saw the actual weight of the thing.

how bad of a clutch slip are we talking? I get a little slip on my best high rpm shifts, but thats the only time I can think of, always figured it was due to a weak PP and heavy flywheel. Would you be experiencing clutch slippage at other times if this leak was there?
