I had it on my 04 S, and plan to go with either another toda, or fidanza for my 07 S(since they are both 8lbs).

It is not to light. My car NEVER stalled with the flywheel, and the revs were smooth as butter. Didn't really take more effert to get the car moving, you get used to it after about one day of driving(or less). yes the revs drop a bit quicker, but you'll adjust your diriving to it.

my favorite mod to date.

Reading this thread has got me curious .... how much faster would the revs move up?

Always love the quick up and down of the revs in exotic cars.

^^ No real risk of damaging anything...you may have to slip the clutch more.

If the car put out massive torque there are other risks, but not so much with our car.

i had a comptech flywheel on my05 with an ACT clutch and YES it revs faster and it was fun! I did stall it the first few days, especially on hills! Once you get used to it you will noticed the smoother transition up/down shifting.

i traded in my05 for my07 and the salesman told me the guy who bought it loved how "the" S2000 revs quick! he didnt know, hope he doesnt drive another S.

on my07 i put in 4.44 gears and almost matches the same revs.

for me only, im going to install an AP1 flywheel instead of buying a comptech again. besides they r not around anymore.

either way, u will like it!

Comptech is now CTEngineering. They are in business, I have purchased from them twice in the last 4 months.

nothing to worry about. you may get a little bit of shatter but it will die down the more you drive to the oint where it will not be noticeable.

I would recommend upgrading your clutch aswell because if your looking to drive hard with this flywheel and factory clutch may not be able to grip it well over time.
