TODA 6 PUCK CLUTCH KIT QUESTION
soo..let see if any one can help me and bill with this...
5 months ago..i went out and bought toda's High Power Single Clutch Kit
im really am not a fan of the clutch engagement..cause its like an on and off switch...and can get really annoying when ur just driving around town...yes i know its a puck clutch..i should have expected that..
both me and bill are trying to figure out if we can put an oem disk with this kit..but we need to find out if an oem disk will fit!
soo...here are our questions?
1-who knows the thickness of the TODA puck clutch disk...
---measured with a verner caliper gage?
2-Who knows the clamping force of the toda Presure plate
3-is the flywheel the the same as the one they sell as an oem replacement?
4-can we fit an oem disk in that clutch kit?
an oem clutch measured with a verner is .335 brand new outta box...
if someone can measure the disk and find out how think that puck clutch is...that would be AWWSOME!!!
THANKS ALOT
JOE & BILLMAN!!

We had this discussion today after we did a clutch change earlier in the week.
Unless you are putting down serious power you will do more harm than good. The 6 puck clutches can cause premature wear on your transmission. Go with a Stage 1 w/ pressure plate until you are F/I

You've missed the point. I'm looking to replace his 6 puck disc with an OEM disc, and leave the Toda flywheel/PP as is.
Problem is, I don't want to tear apart the car to find out the units are incompatible. I also don't know if his Toda flywheel is the same as the OEM replacement flywheel (accepts the stock PP and disc) which most of us usually buy.
The disc thickness is the main factor, which I am unsure of....
