don't just parts swap. figure it out, it will cost less to have the dealer figure it out for $100 and if they found it over-revved, then you have ammo

I agree with negcamber; Majestic Honda has them for $65.61 each versus $120 for my local dealership. Although I was disappointed when it took them 3 days to ship my order after submission (I paid for next day shipping).

I can't say if this is true for your case, but when I had a misfire in one of my cylinders, it sometimes caused the engine to think that other cylinders were misfiring and gave me multiple misfire codes. But I kept on verifying the codes by resetting them, and then getting another code reading. If you do plan to reset the codes, Please Make Sure That You Jot Down All Codes Before Resetting.

Did the shop mention to you anything about the car giving them troubles? Seems kinda fishy that the problem would pop up right after you pick up the car, and not during their test drive.

Hope that you only have a minor problem with your, otherwise, stick it to the shop.

was it a chain shop like goodyear or firestone or was it just a local shop? if it was a chain than you have a lot of options in terms of fighting it, but if it was a local shop than the owner will continue to fight you over responsibility.

You would be foolish not to bring it to a dealer and have it analyzed. You're talking about throwing a bunch more money at it now with no idea what is going on. Pay to have it diagnosed and see what's up. Then if it shows up as an overrev you got ammo to go after the repair shop. Good luck and keep us posted.

If all else fails, your"e sure it was their fault, which i am sure of by the sound of the problems and the way and order things happened. Go to pep boys buy some gloves, go to home depo buy 2 bricks, go to big 5 buy baseball pants and a softee t shirt and give your best pitch at 2 windows! lol

nope...we have an iridium plug. not really prone to fouling. reset the ECU and take it to a dealer and have them clear the hard codes and see if tehy come back. im wondering if another CEL caused the missfires and those are just a symptom and not the problem
Iridium or not 96,000 miles could lead to worn out plugs.

Replace the plugs.

You should take pictures for all of us to see. They are due within the next 10,000 miles according to the factory but most owners change them out a little more often.
