Timken wheel bearing

Default Timken wheel bearing

There's a little dent on the face of the wheel bearing. I assume this isn't safe or good to use still? The dent is on the metal side.

the dent is located on the left side.

That's actually a shield to keep dirt out of the races. You can gently pry it up with a small screwdriver.
