Timing issue has me completely stumped
Recently I put an F22 into my ap1 and on the first test drive as soon as I got to 6k rpm the car died and would not turn back on. When I looked at the timing I noticed it had skipped a tooth so I reset the timing and went for another test drive and the same thing happened at 5k rpm. I then replaced the tct with one of Billman's and reset the timing again and went for another test drive and the same thing happened again at about 4k rpm. Just now I took the timing cover off to check to see if the timing sprocket key on the crank was still there and that seems fine. I'm all out of ideas other than the chain might be stretched. Am I overlooking something simple? Any other possibilities?

have you tried to remove the spark plugs and use an indicator (on top of the piston) to find true TDC like that?
i had an issue on a k series motor once that my TDC was not marked correctly from the factory on the crank.

Guides are all in good shape? Directions installing Billmans' TCT all followed (install TCT before pulling pin to release piston)? I've heard it's near impossible to jump a tooth on these motors, so you got something odd going on! What is the story on the motor you put in? Maybe check the chain against a new one to see how stretched out it may be.
