I think we need a sound clip bro. The torque will not affect the noise (unless finger loose or so tight they broke)

Tensioner noise is 3x the speed of a valve tick.

Since they had the valves out of the head, it would only make sense that they did the valve adjustment over. I'd grease up Xvipers palm and let him double check your valves

Xviper and i tested it again. The timing chain auto tensioer and serpentine belt are eliminated as the sound. It seems like a couple of the injectors are ticking. So just put in some injector cleaner, lets hope this stops the ticking, if not I'll have to get some new injectors.

I had to chainge the same exact part on my motorcycle a couple of years ago... except there is much less clearance... I replaced it with this :

Billman,

Did you ever come out with the new tensioner? I am ready to order my replacement and I am interested in your new design if it will last longer than the honda model.

^^^dam man id love to hear what sound u have because i thought mine was the chain tensioner and i just changed it out but the sound is still there. Im up in ft lauderdale by sawgrass mills. but i go down to miami a lot.

I just replaced mine a few weeks ago, the car is alot quieter now! Im sure mine was failing for a while

Billman, any idea how long it will be, I dont think I can wait much more. Mine is really making alot a noise all the time now. Dont want the chain to snap.
