Question. Is this covered under a full Honda warranty?

Did you see post above? Here.....

Good luck. Ideally, you shouldn't have problems. Huntington Honda in NY replaced mine with no hassling in under 30 minutes with the extended HondaCare warranty at 80k miles (and we know how some dealers try to get out of doing anything under the extended warranty).

Woo-hoo! I did it myself in about 20 minutes and the car is so much quieter now!

I just couldn't be happier...until I find the time to get my Vortech installed.

I had mine replaced at around 80k (as per a few posts up). Now, I'm at 98k and been having the same issue for a few thousand miles. I have the extended HondaCare warranty so the dealer is in the process of ordering a new TCT again (they are giving me no issues at all) to replace the noisy one.

If you're on LI and need a reliable tech (when you can't get a hold of Billman that is), go to Bobby M. at Huntington Honda. He's the only other guy I trust, other than Billman.

I'm on my 4th TCT now...They seem to be going out roughly every 6k miles now.

Mugen EP, what oil do you use?

BTW....my prototype TCT is ready, will be putting it in soon.....

It is the loudest one I've ever heard (making noise constantly at all rpms) which I have modified...

I was using Mobil 1 but switched to Redline for my last 4 oil changes.

No difference.

My buddy is working on a modified TCT to see if he can solve the issues. I am interested in hearing how your prototype goes.
