Have you thought of taking it to a Honda specialist.

Mines just recently developed over the last couple of weeks especially since i got a vented hood i can hear it even louder!!! At first i thought it was my valves which I got adjusted and my mechanic said only like 2 or 3 were out of spec and put them back to spec.
Mines get louder and louder especially at throttle and letting off the throttle. At idle it is not as noisey
I was just wondering if its ok to continue driving for like 2 or 3 weeks since i wont be home and wont have any time to do this fix until i'm at home.
Oh yea the sound i'm experiencing is the exact sound everyone is describing,
like a 5 years old kid bike with a baseball card hitting the spokes...
click click click click click annoying as hell especially at higher revs!!!

Any updates on this issue? The dealer has already replaced mine twice, the second time for free since it was within 10K miles. It starting to make noise again, and they say they need to replace the timing chain.
I've found that it is always quiet after changing the oil, but comes back after 1 to 2K miles. So what changes occur in the oil in that much time? I've always run Mobile 1 10W-30. Does the oil thin out in that much time?

No, it's not low oil! I check the oil at least twice a week, and top it off whenever it is low. Still makes the noise with the oil right up to the top, but once the oil is changed it will remain quiet for a while. I don't know why, thought someone might have an idea.
Reading through these post and from my own experience I decided to change my oil and put in Mobile1 15W-50 and see if that made a difference. I've always used 10W-30 in the past. So far, 200 miles, the engine is very quiet, no hot start rattle at all, and seems quieter than it ever has been. I'll let you know if it comes back as usual, or if the heavier weight oil makes a difference.

15W-50 definitely doesn't sound right for this engine. It might stop the TCT rattle, but I think it's too thick for good engine lubrication. I'd rather replace a $100 TCT ever 10K miles than replace a $5K engine.
