Update: Installed the TCT from Billman today.

Car Purrrrsss like a kitten! Thank you so much Billman.

I thought it was going to be hard to pull the pin but it was cake!

i'm on the process of boosting my S. What problemcauses us to replace the TCT? and what is the TCT?

Timing Chain Tensioner. It's right underneath the VTEC solenoid. It's just a bad design, and a part in it wears out prematurely, compromising it's ability to tense the timing chain. It makes a bunch of racket when you start, especially with the engine warmed up.

It really is an easy part to replace. I replaced mine last year with an OEM before I knew about Billman...I still need to get my old busted one to him so he can work his magic as I'm sure my new-ish one will break any day now.
