Timing Chain

Default Timing Chain

Has anyone ever changed there timing chain and not just the tensioner? Is it nessesary after a certain amount of miles?

You shouldn't need to change it anytime soon. I only know one person to have changed a timing chain on this car and that was because it broke after a head rebuild...not sure why it broke.

They have proven to be reliable for the life of the engine.
